Preserving Glacier's Heritage Mission Statement
The Glacier Fund supports the preservation of the outstanding beauty and cultural heritage of Glacier National Park for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations by fostering public awareness and encouraging private philanthropy. Since it's introduction by The Glacier Fund, the Glacier National Park Specialty Licence Plates have been very popular with Montana drivers. The plate background is a beautiful scene of Lake McDonald. ![]() All proceeds from the sale of the vanity plate will support projects in Glacier National Park such as historic building restoration, environmental education, wildlife research, revegetion, bearproof food storage lockers, the water supply at Sperry Chalet, Peace Park Fund for joint projects involving Waterton - Glacier International Peace Park, land aquisition within park boundaries, etc. ( Editors Note: Most visitors are unaware that there still remain tracts of private land within the boundaries of Glacier National Park. ) Montana drivers may purchase a Glacier National Park Specialty Licence Plate by printing an application from The Glacier Fund's Website at www.glacierfund.org Mail the completed application along with a check for the first annual fee of $20 to: The Glacier Fund
P.O.Box 14 West Glacier, Montana 59936 When your approved application is returned by mail, take it to your County Treasurer's Office and pay a one time fee of $10 to receive your Glacier National Park Specialty Licence Plates. Sample plates are available for out of state collectors for a donation of $20. The Glacier Fund,
